Meg Buchanan lives in Paeroa, in the Coromandel region of New Zealand with her husband and black labrador.
Meg has been writing since 2012, with most of her books set in the Coromandel as it has a rich history and is spectacularly beautiful. It also has the of advantage beautiful beaches and amazing scenery. Paeroa has streets that already have names, a couple of rivers and a mountain nearby and neighbouring towns, so she saves time on world building.
Her books range from action-adventure, to sci-fi, contemporary romance and historical fiction. Over the last few years Meg has been stockpiling manuscripts, fifteen in total, but now, Scavenger Hunt, has been released by Junction Publishing, and in February 2018 Trojan Gene will be released. The first of the Prelude Series will come out soon after that.
Also, The Wild Rose Press is publishing The Claim, the first book of an historical fiction series, set around gold mining on the Karangahake Mountain in 1875. The Claim will be released in 2018 too.
